Carmella is a Cleveland native but is currently residing in Cincinnati as she earns her BFA in Theatre Design and Production: Lighting Design and Technology at the University of Cincinnati's College - Conservatory of Music.  

Carmella started her lighting design journey in September of 2022 and quickly fell in love with it. She has a focus in theatre lighting design, but also loves designing for dance and has done some concert work. 

Carmella has always been an artist. She has 13 years of experience in theater, where she has done both onstage and backstage work. On top of that Carmella has a background in piano, guitar, voice, percusion, dance, photography, and film.


Carmella has always gravitated towards art and she carries the artistic lens where she goes.
